Jenna and Eric’s Wren Chapel, Settlement at Powhatan Creek Wedding was truly unique and incredible in every way and we’re honored to have been such an important part of their big day!

When we first met with Eric and Jenna last year, we knew their wedding was going to be unique, beautiful, and reflective of their own individual personalities. Needless to say, it was incredibly “them” in each and every way.

It seems like just yesterday that we met with Eric and Jenna at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville for their engagement session. Now, one cold winter later, they are starting their life together as husband and wife.

We love working at the Historic Wren Chapel at William and Mary in Williamsburg, but we also had the opportunity to work at a new venue for us, The Settlement at Powhatan Creek in Williamsburg. We found the venue to be warm and welcoming and the staff was incredible and attentive to Eric and Jenna’s every need.

Ashley and Paul’s Engagement Pictures on the James River in Williamsburg

Ashley and Paul’s Engagement Pictures on the James River in Williamsburg were nearly frozen / snowed out thanks to the relentless cold and winter storms Old Man Winter has sent our way recently. Thankfully, it only takes a few warm days to melt the snow and ice (well, most of it) and Ashley and Paul’s engagement session went off beautifully!

When we first met with Paul and Ashley to discuss their upcoming wedding at the Vintager Inn, we also made plans for their engagement session. We discussed a few locations on various rivers throughout the area and settled on the beach at College Creek which is just off of the James River on the Colonial Parkway in Williamsburg.

The day of their engagement session turned out to be beautiful and we’re excited to share the results with you here today!

Jenna and Eric’s University of Virginia Engagement Pictures

Jenna and Eric’s University of Virginia Engagement Pictures were so much fun to take. We had originally planned to take Jenna and Eric’s engagement pictures at Carter Mountain in Charlottesville where they reside; however, after getting stuck in traffic for over an hour, we called Jenna and Eric and decided to meet at the University of Virginia instead. Not bad for a backup location, huh?

Needless to say, taking engagement pictures at the University of Virginia was a great experience for us and having Eric and Jenna to show us around was even better.

Jenna and Eric will be getting married in March at the Sir Christopher Wren Chapel at the College of William and Mary and their reception will follow at The Settlement at Powhatan Creek in Williamsburg.
